Lais Luz, the founder of Luz Concept 5, has deep roots in the Sarasota, Florida stone industry. Indeed, around 2018, she discovered the transformative potential of mineral surfaces. Furthermore, because of her success with a previous countertop company in Sarasota, she quickly recognized the revolutionary nature of this eco-friendly material.

To address this new material, Lais proactively tackled its complexities. For instance, she mastered everything from precise fabrication to expert installation. This included porcelain slabs, sintered stone, and ultracompact surfaces for Sarasota homes. Despite the fact that the industry had initial misunderstandings, her belief in the enduring qualities of mineral surfaces remained strong. In particular, this was true for modern kitchens and luxury countertops in Sarasota.
